The exhibiton was about the many languages in contemporary art and the common denominator for the participating artists was that their work is building bridges between different languages and continents. The catalogue features texts by: Ann-Sofi Noring, Hans Ulrich Obrist, Simon Castets, Édouard Glissant and a foreword by Daniel Birnbaum. The catalogue also includes a facsimile of the original catalogue from the legendary exhibition Poetry Must Be Made by All! Transform the World! (MM1969).
Participating artists: George Adéagbo (Benin/Germany), Etel Adnan (Lebanon/France), Kader Attia (Algeria/France), Yael Bartana (Israel/Netherlands), Paul Chan (Hong Kong/USA), Rivane Neuenschwander (Brazil/Great Britain), Michelangelo Pistoletto (Italy) and Haegue Yang (Korea/Germany).
